Access to clean drinking water is a critical challenge in many parts of the world. Aclaira®, a company founded to address this very issue, designs water filtration systems that are both robust and easy to use — tailored specifically for remote and resource-limited regions.

To maintain crontrol of their system's cost without sacrificing on functionality and realibility, Aclaira® turned to IoTize TapBus. By replacing traditional PLCs and control screens with TapBus modules, they achieved significant cost reductions, added new apps for system maintenance, and regained the upperhand on their own technology.

The TapBus modules bring them plug-and-play data acquisition and system control. The modules built-in Bluetooth, NFC enables easy system setup, maintenance, and remote monitoring from a smartphone app. Network connectivity allows supervision of these remote systems from anywhere in the world. This not only makes Aclaira®'s systems more accessible and easier to maintain, but also supports future deployments in emergency and disaster relief.
